During the early morning hours of September 08, 2010, the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department conducted a drug suspect round up. The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department along with the Clarksdale Police Department, Tunica County Sheriff’s Department, Tate County Sheriff’s Department, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, DEA, and US Marshal Service served warrants in Coahoma County. This roundup was the culmination of a year of work by the Coahoma County Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Unit. Eight persons were arrested with a total of over 25 cases for sale of controlled substances. One person remains at large with Federal Warrants pending.

The following were arrested for multiple counts of Sale of Controlled Substances:

2. David Haile, 360 Monroe Street, Jonestown, MS.
3. Eddie Williams, 303 Ganong Street, Jonestown, MS.
4. General McKnight, 854 Blanche Street, Jonestown, MS.
5. James Harrell, 325 Harrison Street, Jonestown, MS.
6. Kenny Ray Hubbard, 400 Jones Street, Jonestown, MS.
7. Sylvester Rice, 300 Van Buren Street, Jonestown, MS.
8. Gregory Pigram, 78 Main Street, Jonestown, MS.
