 PRESS RELEASE

  At appx. 8:30 am Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Hwy 49 South, close to the Coahoma County / Tallahatchie County line.

 

One of the drivers were airlifted to The Med in Memphis and is being treated. The driver of the second vehicle was treated at the local hospital and released.

 

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office, Mississippi Bureau of Investigations and other agencies are attempting to locate the owner of the vehicle.

 

Marco McMillian of 1509 Lyon Street, Clarksdale,Ms. Age 34.

 

Sheriff Jones stated “There is an ongoing investigation and information will be provided as it becomes available.”
