Cold Case #1: Murder
Victim: Myrtis C. Pate
Race / Gender: Black, Female
Age: 19 years of age
Date crime committed: April 11 – April 12, 2009

On Sunday, April 12, 2009, Mrs. Lena Pate reported to the Clarksdale Police Department that her daughter, Myrtis Pate, was missing and had not returned home from the previous night. They opened a missing person case on Myrtis Pate.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2009, the body of Myrtis Pate was discovered near the town of Coahoma, MS. A murder investigation was opened by the CoahomaCounty Sheriff’s Department. Several persons of interest were questioned about the disappearance and murder of Myrtis Pate. One of the persons of interest that was questioned later died. Myrtis Pate was last seen getting into a dark colored SUV, which has never been located.

Cold Case #2: Murder
Victim: Linda Maddox
Race / Gender: White, Female
Age: 65 years of age
Date crime committed: May 30, 2009
Location: Lurand, MS
Suspects: Under Investigation
On Saturday, May 30, 2009 at approximately 12:00 noon, the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call of a possible crime being committed at the residence of Linda Maddox in Lurand, MS. Ms Maddox was talking to a friend on the phone when an unknown person entered her home and murdered her. The friend, hearing the event over the phone called 911. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the residence minutes later to find Ms Maddox deceased.
Ms Maddox was killed inside her home in what was believed to be a burglary.
Any person that may have seen any person enter or leave the home of Linda Maddox or in the area of her home on Saturday, May 30, 2009, is urged to contact the Coahoma County Sheriff Departments investigation division at 662-624-2411.

Age: 69 years of age
Hair: Gray
Height: 5”10”
Weight: 155 lbs
Mr. Willie White was last seen on Saturday, July 09, 2005 between the hours of 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm, walking in Jonestown, MS. wearing an orange long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
Mr. White has not been seen since.

Victim: Latrice 'Shay" Armstead
Race / Gender: Black Female
Age: 39 years of age
Hair: Brown
Height: 5'03"
Weight: 152 lbs
Mrs. Latrice Armstead was last seen Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Memphis, TN leaving 4201 Springleaf LN, Memphis, TN. It is unknown at this time what Mrs. Armstead was wearing, but her mouth was wired shut at the time of her disappearance.
Mrs. Armstead has not been seen or heard from since.
